Assist students at the front counter and on the phone. Respond to student emails. Make adjustment in financial aid packages and complete paperwork submitted by students such as GRE fee reductions or cost of attendance budgets for scholarship applications.
Assist students with questions about the financial aid process, their awards and general financial aid questions at the front counter and on the phone. Answer student emails sent to the Financial Aid mailbox. Adjust student cost of attendance budgets and other duties as assigned.
Other functions as assigned.
Bachelor's degree. 1 year of administrative experience. Applicants must include in their online resume the following information: 1) Employment history: name of company, period employed (from month/year to month/year), job title, summary of job duties and 2) Education: Name of college attended, degree type, major, year graduated. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Excellent communication skills. Experience with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc). Knowledge or experience with MyMav (PeopleSoft). 1 year experience with student financial aid processes and procedures. Ability to provide excellent customer service.
May work around standard office conditions Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation May be required to work some evenings and weekends as necessary. Criminal background check conducted.
