Provides both administrative and professional nursing skills for a designated patient care area. Coordinates assigned personnel. Consults on immunization requirements and administers immunizations as required.
Coordinates and directs daily operation of the university immunization clinic. Provides TB test results to students, university departments and various state agencies as required. Administers vaccinations and/or allergy vaccines to patients. Educates patients on disease and treatment options. Completes the required paperwork and records to properly document immunization activity. Provides nursing support to the medical clinic on an as needed basis.
Other functions as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in nursing. Current Texas License as a Registered Nurse. 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
