Assist Athletics Buildings Services Supervisor in the maintenance and upkeep of facilities.

Essential Functions

Responsible for cleaning all athletics facilities. Power wash all athletics facilities. Clean exterior entrances and concourses of Bellmont Hall, DKR Texas Memorial Stadium, North End Zone Building and Moncrief Neuhaus Athletic Center daily. Assist with game day stadium and field set up at all Athletic facilities. Stock stadium restrooms prior to varsity sporting events. Assist with oversight of temporary labor hired by the Athletic Department for special events. Empty trash cans and sweep public areas at all Athletic facilities. Assist with furniture moving. Performs any special duties as assigned by supervisor. Overtime will be required to assist with game operations and special events.

Licenses: Class "C" Operator's Driver's License. Applicant selected must provide a current three year Driving Record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, must obtain a Texas Driver's License within 30 days after entering Texas as a new resident.

Other related functions as assigned.

Required qualifications

High school graduation or GED. Experience setting up furniture and equipment in a public use facility. One year of experience in custodial maintenance. Must be able to operate cleaning machines and fork lift, must have and maintain fork lift certification or acquire if hired. Must be able to lift, push and pull, heavy and large items, climb ladders and stairs. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
