To provide advanced professional counseling, outreach, and consultation services.
Complete initial assessment, evaluate presenting problems and recommend appropriate treatment for individuals and groups. Provide individual and group counseling to address personal, academic and career concerns. Select appropriate assessments based on presenting concerns. Select, administer, and interpret assessments. Conduct on average 1 to 2 workshops a week related to personal, academic, and career development. Responsible for conducting research and facilitating group presentation. Consult with UT Arlington faculty, staff, and students.
Other functions as assigned.
Master's degree or equivalent in psychology, counseling, social work, or related discipline. 2 years of experience in a counseling setting. Master's degree or higher with a professional license in psychology, social work or counseling.
