This position will coordinate and maintain the program, recruit students to the program, provide academic advisement to students for successful completion of the certificate, and facilitate data collection on the effectiveness of the program.

Essential Functions

Coordinate and maintain the certification program Develop and facilitate methods to recruit students into the certificate program. Provide academic advisement to students for successful completion of the certificate. Facilitate data collection on the effectiveness of the program.

Marginal/Incidental functions

Although technology will be utilized in this position, this position will require face-to-face interaction with students, faculty and staff across the university community. Other functions as assigned.

Required qualifications

Bachelors degree and four years experience in a related field; Masters degree preferred. Demonstrated knowledge and professional experience with an expertise in the area of diversity. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications

Two years experience recruiting and/or counseling students in academic and scholastic matters at the university level.
