To provide varied administrative support to the Smart Hospital and Regional Education Center.
Works with the Associate Dean of Simulation and Technology, the Simulation Manager and the Simulation Operations and Logistics Coordinator to manage operations of the Smart Hospital. Coordinates student workers and GTA work schedules and all paperwork related to their work at the Smart Hospital. Supervises the clerical work of student workers. Prepares manuscripts for publication, letters, forms, scenarios, reports and other documentation. Maintains calendar of events and arranges schedules and meetings; Maintains work schedules for all staff to ensure staff coverage for hours of operation; Maintains time leave usage. Develops and manages records retention, storage and destruction system. Conducts literature searches to obtain publications of interest. Manages the Standardized Patient program (schedules, orients, and completes compensation paperwork).
Performs other duties as assigned by the Administrator of the Smart Hospital.
Bachelor's degree and 1 year upper level secretarial experience OR high school with 5 years of administrative, secretarial and clerical experience. Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites, internet engine searches like Google, personal computer and other standard office equipment.
