To perform business analysis, quality assurance, and project management activities for web applications development and deployment, and to provide application and customer support, including identification, analysis, and resolution of issues.
Perform testing and analysis tasks of web applications, including creation and maintenance of use case, test case and test procedure documentation. Determine and document expected behavior of web applications. Plan and manage project-based quality assurance efforts. Perform business analysis and requirements gathering for web application products, including developing, documenting, maintaining and communicating business rules and requirements. Communicate functional and technical details with a wide range of stakeholders, including business area experts and technical developers.
Other related functions as assigned.
Knowledge of developing and documenting work requirements, rules, workflows, reports and presentation for automation projects using spreadsheet, word processing, email/calendaring, workflow and project management software. Knowledge of application programming fundamentals and principles. Competent in understanding technical terminology and processes and translating them to a technical audience for development and/or implementation. Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills to engage a variety of audiences in a work plan to ensure successful outcomes. Two years of testing and evaluating software against standards and requirements. Demonstrated ability to develop and document use cases and requirements. Demonstrated creative problem solving skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively, both independently and collaboratively, in a team oriented environment. Demonstration of consistently meeting deadlines and following through with projects and assignments to completion. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. Five or more years of experience in test planning for software. Five or more years of experience in software test case development, documentation and automation. Two or more years of experience with the UNIX operating system. Demonstrated history in successful project management.
