Additional Information

Purpose

To manage, develop, direct and evaluate assigned projects and plans. Track resource allocation for all projects within Customer Support Services (CSS) and ITS projects impacting CSS. Successfully deliver completed projects.

Essential Functions

Manages, develops, directs and evaluates assigned projects utilizing accepted project management methodologies, communication and consultation with clients, project team members and other stakeholders. Develops project plans including project life cycle, budgets, resource requirements, change management processes, risk management, key milestones, communication mechanisms, test plans and deliverables. Manages project implementation including emergent issues with emphasis on time schedule control to ensure all tasks are completed within established deadlines and budgets. Prepares detailed reports on project progress with clients to include project plans, barriers and solutions, milestones, financial costs/projections and analyses.

Other related functions as assigned.

Required qualifications

Five years of enterprise level project management experience. Demonstrated history of large scale, large budget, successful project delivery. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Must have completed a certificate program for project management. A Bachelor's degree. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

More than 7 years of project management experience with large scale projects. PMP, Six Sigma, ITIL or other similar certifications. Experience working in a University environment.

Working conditions

May work around standard office conditions Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation Use of manual dexterity May work on multiple projects concurrently, under pressure of rigid deadlines and time limitations. Extended hours may be required.
