The usual work hours will be 12noon to 9pm, but will vary according to job requirements. Work hours will be from 5:00pm to 2:00am for 3 to 4 days every other month. Hiring decision contingent upon applicant clearing a security background check and receiving an acceptable driver's rating. Applications will be reviewed online by the hiring department.
Responsible for development and implementation of a standardized process management system for gathering data, measuring facilities, and assigning employee workloads.
Develop, manage, and utilize standardized project management tools, including building profile documentation, standardized methodology for capturing information, workloading templates, spreadsheets, and job assignment cards. Determine cleanable square footage and gather pertinent facility information such as fixture count, space usage, architectural finishes, traffic load, etc. Maintain records for space and workloading information. Abide by consistent standards to improve processes across the organization. Develop statistical information through the collection of data and make use of information to develop standardized workloading methodology. Produce employee work assignment job cards based on results of workloading. Prepare management reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, presentation materials, etc. Assist in implementation of revised work assignments and in training of staff. Facilitate communication with custodial staff and building clients to gather and disseminate information.
Licenses: Class "C" Operator's Driver's License. Applicant selected must provide a current three year Driving Record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, must obtain a Texas Driver's License within 30 days after entering Texas as a new resident.
Maintain acceptable driver rating as established in Policy: UTS157 Section 2.5.4. Other related functions as assigned.
High school graduation or GED. Four years of experience in data collection and information analysis. Experience with project management and meeting milestones and deadlines. Accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve goals. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access. Demonstrated analytical, communication, and customer service skills. Valid Class-C Texas Driver License; meets and maintains an acceptable driver rating as established in The University of Texas at Austin Policy Memorandum 7.601. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Bachelor's degree. More than four years of above experience. Demonstrated ability and experience in effective communication and collaboration with upper management, clients, project team members, and workers. Expert level in Microsoft Excel. Experience using PowerPoint and making presentations. Experience using Microsoft Project. Successful completion of the Facilities Services and Project Management and Construction Services Leader Development Program.
