Contributes to KUT's mission by providing outstanding management of member services and events. Maintains professional standards; deepens public support through positive interaction with members and venders, and accountability to our stakeholders.
Maintains purchasing contacts for membership services. Creates prior approvals, processes invoices and checks on payment status. Works with Development Staff to determine thank you gifts and requests bids from vendors for premiums when appropriate. Also assists with Requests for Proposals as needed. Responsible for entering cash received into membership database. Enters lock box payments and checks into database, processes credit cards using UT's online giving system. Ensures payroll deducts are entered into Allegiance regularly. Enters car donations into Allegiance and ensures car donors who give at a certain level are recognized. Answers questions by UT Development. Completes reporting on assigned giving clubs. Maintains familiarity with Allegiance. Coordinates planning for all KUT special events. Responsible for on-site coordination which includes problem-solving, decision-making, and interaction with vendors. Attends and participates in all relevant KUT events. Drives University Vehicle to events and meetings. Access to a personal vehicle required. Creates Official Occasion forms for Events and maintains the Event Spreadsheet. Monitors and prepares Special Event revenue and expenditure reports. Performs administrative functions, including data management and correspondence. Deliberately builds and maintains cross-functional collaborations with other KUT departments/staff and vendor/partners in support of achieving KUT's public service commitment. Maintains productive relationships at work by frequently communicating with partners, providing status and addressing issues. Gathers other people's input for significant decisions and projects. Is viewed by peers and supervisors as an available and helpful resource or partner.
Licenses: Class "C" Operator's Driver's License. Applicant selected must provide a current three year Driving Record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, must obtain a Texas Driver's License within 30 days after entering Texas as a new resident.
Other related functions as assigned.
Bachelor's degree. A combination of one year of experience assisting with fundraising programs or performing complex administrative functions. A combination of one year of experience in word processing, using a personal computer or microcomputer or proofreading. Exceptional interpersonal skills and expertise in customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Outstanding organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in completing work. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Bachelor's degree and experience at the Development/Membership Assistant level. Working knowledge of Allegiance Software, a public broadcasting membership management software. Public broadcasting development experience preferred. Experience purchasing equipment, supplies and/or other membership related materials.
