Additional Information


To provide support to the Assistant Vice Provost in Institutional Effectiveness and Reporting. Assist in the development and coordinate the implementation of assessment projects, data collection, and assessment reporting. Provide assessment consultation. Assist with appropriate University committees.

Essential Functions

Coordinate, collect and report University assessment information, related to new and ongoing assessment and accountability projects. Support efforts related to General Education Assessment and Texas Core Objectives. Coordinate between academic departments, committees, and units in assessment projects. Keeps informed of related research and assessment projects conducted on other campuses through conference attendance, networking, and/or research on the web. Proofreads all reports, correspondence, and statistical tables for accuracy and completeness.

Marginal/Incidental functions

Other functions as assigned.

Required qualifications

Master's degree in higher education, social science, educational research, statistics, or related discipline. Three (3) years of experience in higher education research or related experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel.
