Develops and administers the IT/Wireless program at ATI including University-derived companies. Responsible for daily operations including but not limited to: staff supervision and recruitment and development of new member companies. Responsible for strategic new program development and economics of the program.
Build pipeline of new member companies and manage pipeline process with particular focus on University-derived opportunities. Develop programs to deliver value to member companies and supervise value delivery. Develop strategy and economics for ATI's IT Wireless program going forward, identify resources, and implement program. Recruit and supervise student interns. Preserve and enhance funding, including maintaining contractual commitments and reporting. Develop and enhance advisory relationships; enhance program reputation through events, speaking engagements, publications, and/or other forums. Work with other ATI program managers and director to develop and execute strategy , operating plans, organization, and budget. Collaborate with IC2 senior staff on relevant programs.

Bachelor's degree in technology or related field. At least 7 years' experience in technology startup management and/or advising, as either founding team member, investor, and/or paid advisor/board member. At least 2 years' experience with technology business incubation/acceleration, as incubator/accelerator manager or client company C-level executive. Experience starting and growing technology companies with at least one founder/co-founder and one early stage CEO role. Demonstrated ability to support university-derived new ventures, with at least 10 such ventures supported in last 5 years. Deep knowledge of Austin funding and technology ecosystem. Professional demeanor. Excellent spoken and written communications. Proficiency in MS Office suite. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Advanced degree in business and/or technology or related field. Experience successfully leading fundraising of at least 100,000 for a technology startup. Experience managing "exit" for founders/investors at a technology startup. Experience as an investor in early-stage technology companies. At least 2 years' business consulting experience. Publication record in economic development, entrepreneurship, and/or related field. At least two years' experience in senior role at a university startup incubator and/or TLO. Experience successfully collaborating with university faculty to create and launch successful spin-out companies. At least one year of experience working with or in a university technology licensing office.
