May require up to 50 percent travel. This position is funded through contract with Texas Department of State Health Services so extension of position is contingent upon additional funding.

Additional Information

Purpose

The person filling this position will provide technical assistance in the implementation of Wraparound across Texas; including training, coaching, and organizational support.

Essential Functions

Provides regular onsite and virtual coaching and technical assistance to community organizations to support staff development of wraparound facilitators and wraparound supervisors. Establish an expertise regarding wraparound by making significant progress toward certification from the National Wraparound Implementation Center (NWIC) as a Wraparound coach. Develops, recommends, modifies and implements training and technical assistance in Wraparound practice. Provides technical assistance and support to organizational administrators and managers to enhance implementation through changes in organizational policies and practice. Utilizes evaluation data to identify needs for quality improvement and develop state and/or local quality improvement plans. Assists with the coordination and support of the development of regional Wraparound coaches, including coordination with expert consultants. Leads the development and design of training aids such as handouts/workbooks, PowerPoint presentations, online training, and evaluation/self-test using adult learning principles. Prepare reports for project funders and presentations or publications for dissemination of information related to the project.

Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field and seven years of responsible level experience in program administration or program coordination, or master's degree and five years of above experience, or doctoral degree and three years of above experience. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling or Social Work or related field. At least two years experience providing services to children and families and at least one year of experience providing training and/or clinical supervision. Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, education or other related field. Experience in training, coaching, or providing wraparound facilitation to children with mental health needs. Three (3) years experience implementing Wraparound.
