Additional Information


Provide clerical assistance to the Facility manager and responsible for maintaining credit card receipts and purchasing records for the grounds, custodial, and maintenance units; inventory for stock items; and triage maintenance work orders.

Essential Functions

Maintain credit card receipts and assist with maintaining purchasing records for maintenance, grounds, and custodial units. Process material and equipment requisitions and place orders for maintenance, grounds, and custodial units. Maintain stores inventory for stock items and triage maintenance work orders. May require driving UT vehicle to pick up emergency supplies or equipment for specific projects and unloading freight using a sit-down forklift. Verify account numbers for billing and create and manage a work order database for maintenance. Schedule meetings and provide other general administrative functions to assist the Facility Manager.

Marginal/Incidental functions

Other related functions as assigned.

Licenses: Class "C" Operator's Driver's License. Applicant selected must provide a current three year Driving Record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, must obtain a Texas Driver's License within 30 days after entering Texas as a new resident.

Required qualifications

High School graduation or GED. Five years of clerical experience. One year of experience with accounting and/or bookkeeping responsibilities. Efficient in Microsoft Office. Demonstrated organizational and time/project management skills and proven record-keeping skills. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently and as a team member. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Prefer a Bachelor's degree and two years of experience within the UT System and familiarity with UT purchasing and procard rules and regulations. Familiarity with warehouse or distribution operations.
