This position will provide faculty, staff and students with technical support

Essential Functions

Provide computer, networking, phone and other technical support to faculty, staff and students. Lead or assist on completing assigned projects. Consult with faculty, staff, and students on application of new technologies Utilize issue tracking and system management software to provide documentation work performed

Marginal/Incidental functions

Other related functions as assigned.

Required qualifications

Knowledge of computer and peripheral operations, installation, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of directory services and remote access tools. Demonstrated experience in IT customer service and/or help desk environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a higher education setting.

Working conditions

May work around standard office conditions Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation
