Manage International Exchange Programs, in conjunction with Director.

Essential Functions

Will manage the operations of the LLM degree program and the program for incoming exchange students. Position works closely with and reports to the director of the LLM program and the Associate Dean for Experiential Education. Will manage, coordinate and support all operations of the LLM program related to students including admissions, registration, orientation, programming, and graduation. Oversee comprehensive interview process for all foreign qualified LLM candidates. Serve as primary contact person for the LLM program with the UT International Office, the UT Graduate International Admissions Center, and the Law School Admission Council. Will coordinate and support faculty committee on LLM program and director of LLM program including track data, prepare reports, research other programs, answer questions from faculty, plan meetings, track policies, develops and maintains expenses and budget information, etc. Travel to recruiting conferences, both domestic and international, to attend professional development conferences, including NAFSA and conduct study abroad site visits. Manage admissions process for International graduate program. Oversee comprehensive interview process for all foreign qualified LLM candidates. Manage admissions for incoming exchange students. Develop new programs for LLM program, including ESL and other academic support programs in conjunction with Director and other GIP staff. Manage daily office logistics and operations. Coordinate with Law School Registrar and Career Services. Manage and organize LLM graduation and orientation in conjunction other GIP staff and website for all graduate and international programs. Collect data and statistics on graduate program and generate reports. Develop recruiting strategy for LLM students. Prepares all LLM reports necessary for American Bar Association. Work with Director and GIP staff on creating new doctoral degree program and creating Bar Exam success program.

Required qualifications

Graduate degree required. A combination of seven years of experience administering or coordinating a program. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

PhD or JD preferred. Foreign language required, Spanish preferred.
