Manage a portfolio of companies and industries to coordinate the on-campus recruiting efforts of employers seeking to hire Texas MBA students for full-time and internship employment. This includes on-campus interviews, information sessions, office hours, lunch-and-learns, special events as well as mock interviews.

Essential Functions

Serve as a liaison to employers from various industry sectors to enhance employers' recruiting experience and success at the McCombs School of Business. Manage and coordinate recruiting schedules, events, and job postings using Career Services Management software (Symplicity), and utilize data management tools to manage business processes. Serve as primary moderator of the online recruiting system for the Recruiting and Operations team. Advise employers in the timing and types of events and interviews to help them be competitive and successful. Manage schedule conflicts and avoid employer competition and conflicts. Provide feedback to employers which will increase their success regarding deadlines, schedule set-up, job descriptions, etc. Liaise between employers, Career Management staff, and students to create a holistic recruiting strategy. Collaborate with Texas MBA and McCombs program partners to optimize the interview process and ensure employer satisfaction. Work closely with fellow staff to manage internal processes and communication. Maintain accuracy of recruiting databases and report on recruitment activity and statistical data as appropriate. Participate in and support Career Management activities and events. Foster, develop and maintain professional business relationships with corporate recruiters via phone, email, business meetings, networking events, etc. to ensure optimal outcomes for students and recruiters. Assist with the operations of the on-campus interview center, including opening and/or closing responsibilities and front desk coverage as needed. Assist the manager and director with other duties and special projects as assigned.

Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree. Three years' experience in account management, customer service, career services, event planning, recruiting, employment services, or related experience. Microsoft Office competencies and comfort with new technology. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent attention to detail. Professional demeanor. Ability to effectively manage a high volume of work. Demonstrated ability to build relationships, communicate effectively and utilize very strong organizational skills. Comfortable in a business environment. Infrequent travel required.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, management. Strong customer service background and skills. Familiarity with Symplicity (or other web-based recruiting management systems), Salesforce, and Adobe applications is strongly preferred.
