The Outreach Coordinator for Partnerships and Strategic Initiatives in the Office of Strategy and Policy helps coordinate and maintain the strategic plan designed to increase and retain partnerships and enhance program awareness across state and local agencies.

Essential Functions

Build and maintain strong relationships with K-12 district and campus administrators and state and local leaders using established relationship and business development strategies. Work with Assistant Director of OnRamps Strategic Partnerships in developing and implementing strategic plans for programmatic growth. Plan, coordinate and help execute trade shows at various educational conferences and special events. Conduct advance planning of presentations, webinars, and regional consortium to help meet strategic goals and expand the reach of OnRamps. Maintain, update, publish and distribute communication to all district partners with a focus on fostering relationships, being a solution partner, retention and up sale, using multiple platforms including Salesforce. Develop and maintain positive relationships by responding to all inquiries regarding program interest and implementation using established communication strategies with existing and potential partners through multiple platform and channels. Track all communication using standard procedures. Complete special projects as assigned.

Licenses: Class "C" Operator's Driver's License. Applicant selected must provide a current three year Driving Record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, must obtain a Texas Driver's License within 30 days after entering Texas as a new resident.

Marginal/Incidental functions

Requires travel and evening and weekend work during critical projects.

Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree and at least three years of experience in K-12 or higher education, external relations, project management, or business development. Experience managing complex projects involving multiple, diverse stakeholders. Ability to navigate a wide variety of internal and external relationships with grace and decorum; demonstrated track record of coordinating and maintaining client relationship system. Experience managing work toward meeting targets and goals. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team. Demonstrated ability to teach oneself new skills and technology and adjust to rapid change. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

MBA, Master's in Education or Communications preferred. Demonstrated experience in the area of external relations or development within the K-12 and/or higher education landscape.
