Purpose

To assist in the maintenance of all Athletic facilities

Essential Functions

Wipe down all stadium seating, hand rails, and window sills. Sweep, blow, and pick up trash in all areas to include: all stairs and ramps inside and outside of the facility and all sidewalks immediately surrounding the facility. Check and remove all trash and recycling from all trash cans located inside and in the area immediately surrounding the facility. Ensure that all trash cans and recycling cans have the correct trash liners. Collect trash and debris inside the seating areas, walkways, stairwells, concourse levels, handicap areas and reserved Club areas. During times of rainy weather, sweep, mop, move and blow areas where water has collected. Assist with stocking janitor closets. Power washing and hosing down seating areas and concourse levels. Cleaning restrooms on concourse area including cleaning toilets and sink areas, sweeping, restocking and emptying trash containers. Assist with cleaning the visitor locker room (vacuuming, removing trash, and relining trash containers). Assist with cleaning the press box (vacuuming, removing trash, relining trash containers and covering outer balconies). Assist with cleaning the official locker room (vacuuming, removing trash, and relining trash containers). Moving furniture. Operate compactors. Sweep between seating row areas of both the upper and lower deck, paying close attention to the front rows. Moving equipment (fencing, bleachers, hurdles, soccer goals, all pits, flooring, etc.).Maintain cleanliness of all facilities including removal of cob webs, bird droppings, spills, stains and bio hazard incidents.Ensure that all tents are clean during and after all events. Setting up and breaking down gates (tables, barricades, chairs and water coolers). Pulling and removing tarp. Assist with events (racking, filling divots, and retrieving equipment). All other duties normally associated with or performed by custodial staff. Assist with Painting at all facilities Assist with maintenance including grout work, ceiling tiles, lights

Licenses: Class "C" Operator's Driver's License. Applicant selected must provide a current three year Driving Record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, must obtain a Texas Driver's License within 30 days after entering Texas as a new resident.

Required qualifications

High school graduation or GED. Experience setting up furniture and equipment in a public use facility. One year of experience in custodial maintenance. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
