Provide administrative support to an Organized Research Unit.

Essential Functions

Provide general Receptionist duties. Answer and route telephone calls, greet guests, receive deliveries, ship materials. Make travel arrangements and process travel reimbursements. Purchase materials and office supplies. Order printing. Process payments for Center-wide services. Make on-campus meeting room reservations. Other duties as assigned.

Marginal/Incidental functions

Other related functions as assigned.

Required qualifications

High school graduation or GED. Three years of experience with clerical functions. Proven ability to multi-task. Proven ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines. Proven ability to work independently and problem solve. Clear and effective oral and written communication skills. Professional demeanor. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree. Proficient with MicroSoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Previous University experience. Previous experience working with grants. Previous DEFINE experience. Previous FRMS experience. Previous PointPlus experience.
