Serve as the Director of Donor Relations, preserving a consistent and excellent donor experience at all levels of giving.

Essential Functions

Implement the Longhorn Foundations stewardship and donor relations program, in accordance with best practices based on giving levels and donor behavior. Create special events to donors at all levels; ensuring donors are recognized appropriately. Track progress toward these metrics. Implement a donor stratification program that standardizes invites to donors, sympathy protocol and gift recognition in a clear process based on giving levels and donor behavior. Supervise the Assistant Director of Donor Relations and Special Events Develop and manage a portfolio of 25 major gift prospects focusing on solicitations of _25,000 and above with mature prospects. Aggressively identify, and formally qualify, new major and planned gift prospects Conduct at least 60 strategic in-person moves with prospects and donors per year, and participate in a minimum of 5 solicitations per year. Oversee endowment stewardship including recognition, yearly communication, engagement and compliance. Manage the Sport Liaison Program: Track metrics for Sport Liaison Program: develop creative methods to assist with donor relations, communications, and cultivation as it relates to the Sport Liaison program. Coordinate the Longhorn Foundation Advisory Council and DeLoss Dodds Leadership Team, including but not limited to outreach, meeting planning and event organization. Work with the Assistant Athletics Director for Leadership Giving and the Assistant Athletics Director for Donor Engagement and Communications to create and manage engagement opportunities with gift officers. Manage a hospitality club, as assigned, on game day.

Licenses: Class "C" Operator's Driver's License. Applicant selected must provide a current three year Driving Record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, must obtain a Texas Driver's License within 30 days after entering Texas as a new resident.

Required qualifications

Bachelors degree and three years of experience working in Athletics development or development in higher education. Excellent customer service skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills and communications skills, verbal and written. Presentation skills. Highly developed sense of personal integrity. Professional demeanor. This position is designated as a Responsible Employee, pursuant to Title IX and University policy. Responsible Employees are not confidential reporting resources. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree. A minimum of five years experience in Athletics development or development in higher education.
