Provide advanced professional-level skills in coordination and administration of seminars and courses for non-degree continuing education programs.

Essential Functions

Plan, coordinate and manage the delivery of executive training courses, seminars, and special events for non-degree continuing education programs on- and off-campus. Arrange administrative and logistical support, facilities, housing, food, equipment needs, and instructional materials. Negotiate vendor contracts. Work within budget constraints. Supervise student workers as appropriate. Act as a liaison between Executive Education, professors, corporate sponsors, program alumni, and participants. Represent the University in an official capacity. Maintain and update records. Prepare related reports. Collaborate with directors, program coordinators, conference coordinators, and ATT EECC staff on program aspects. Conduct and report needs assessments and program evaluations.

Other related functions as assigned.

Licenses: Class "C" Operator's Driver's License. Applicant selected must provide a current three year Driving Record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, must obtain a Texas Driver's License within 30 days after entering Texas as a new resident.

Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree. A combination of three years of experience planning and coordinating conferences, seminars, short-courses or workshops. Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team as well as indepentantly with overlapping projects and multiple deadlines. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with event planning or executive development programs. Demonstrated excellent communication skills. Experience in a university environment.

May work around standard office conditions Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation Use of manual dexterity Lifting and moving Frequent evening and weekend hours required. May require overnight domestic and international travel. Lifting/moving boxes containing paper and course materials.
