Additional Information


To apply advanced knowledge in providing accounting and financial reporting for the ESL Services program, customized programs, and the Finance and Administration unit of the International Office.

Essential Functions

Responsible for the timely accounting, reconciliation, and reporting of the operating budgets for ESL Services, Financial and Business Services, Internal Operations, Special Projects, External Relations, Global Risk and Safety, and Passport Services. Assist with monitoring, analyzing, budgeting, and reporting of customized programs administered by the International Office. Monitor payments and past due invoices, including following up with external partners on outstanding payments and resolve various financial issues with external partners. Process deposits, payments, cash advances, travel reimbursements, and other financial transactions in accordance with University policies and procedures. Ensure accuracy of revenues and expenses. Follow up with staff on missing documentation. Assist in performing financial analysis on revenues, expenses, and forecasting. Assist with special projects.

Required qualifications

Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance. A combination of two years of experience in accounting, finance, or related field. Demonstrated ability to set priorities and complete them within deadlines in a multi-task environment with overlapping assignments. Attention to details. Proficiency in Excel. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Master degree in Business Administration or CPA. Experience with University DEFINE and FRMS financial systems. Experience working with students in a University setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and with team members. Effective and professional business writing skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups and cultures. Working knowledge of a foreign language.
