Additional Information

Purpose

Plan and implement research activities for the HCC contract. Collaborate with research team, project partners, and evaluation sites. Collect, manage, analyze, and present data in reports, presentations and publications.

Essential Functions

Analyze and interpret data collected from mental health providers, homeless service providers, and state agencies using statistical software. Participate in planning and implementing research and evaluation activities related to contractual initiatives. Facilitate project implementation, particularly date collection and quality, with project sites, project partners, and funders. Prepare reports and publications. Administer data collection instruments specific to contractual and site specific outcomes.

Marginal/Incidental functions

Limited travel to project sites. Other related functions as assigned.

Licenses: Class "C" Operator's Driver's License. Applicant selected must provide a current three year Driving Record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, must obtain a Texas Driver's License within 30 days after entering Texas as a new resident.

Required qualifications

Master's in social work, public health or social sciences. Four years experience in multi-site health services evaluation planning, implementation, data management, analysis, and reporting findings. Experience using statistical software. Travel up to 10 percent. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience conducting research in the public mental health, homeless or social services field, using statistical software (e.g., SPSS), managing datasets, using web-based applications (e.g., REDCap; Qualtrics, Piktochart), and writing research reports.
