Additional Information


To work with the Program Director to plan, organize, manage and promote projects and events for the Food+City program.

Essential Functions

Engage and post projects and events on all of Food+City's social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Publish all content to appropriate pages on website. Design and deliver e-newsletter. Track and present analytical data from all social media platforms, website, and e-newsletter. Participate in weekly planning and review meetings.

Marginal/Incidental functions

Other related functions as assigned.

Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree and three years of experience with coordinating or administering a program. Demonstrated organizational skills. Demonstrated experience with social media platforms, e-newsletters, and website management. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree. More than the required experience. Knowledge of food technology innovation. Familiarity with local and UT food ecosystem. Working knowledge of the food system, including issues and players.

Working conditions

May work around standard office conditions Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation Occasional weekend, overtime and evening work to meet deadlines
