Coordinate delivery of technical assistance to providers of opioid treatment services in a multi-state area.

Essential Functions

Facilitate matching of Technical Assistance (TA) team requests with TA team assignments. Manage TA teams working in a multi-state area. Promote use of evidence based methods and technology transfer principles by TA team members. Ensure collection of required data for reporting and evaluation and draft required reports. Participate in virtual meetings of TA members and other stakeholders. Conduct assessments of TA needs of providers and provide teams directly to providers as needed.

Other related functions as assigned.

Licenses: Class "C" Operator's Driver's License. Applicant selected must provide a current three year Driving Record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, must obtain a Texas Driver's License within 30 days after entering Texas as a new resident.

Required qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Social Science and at least 5 years experience and knowledge in evidence-based pharmacotherapy and psychosocial interventions for substance use disorders. Expertise in effective technical assistance implementation strategies and providing in-service training and technical assistance to behavioral health, addictions and medical professionals. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

The preferred candidate will have a Masters Degree in Social Science and prior experience working in government contracting.
