Purpose

Provide administrative support services for the Center for Excellence in Long-Term Care.

Essential Functions

Provide administrative support which may include answering phones, filing and scanning. Will be responsible for handling all audiovisual equipment related activities for webinars to include setting up camera, troubleshooting and monitoring the webinars as they are taking place. Will be responsible for recording events and ensuring quality products. Scanning of documents, filing, data entry, and running errands on campus. May also assist with event set-up (e.g., moving tables/chairs) and other related duties as needed.

Marginal/Incidental functions

Other related functions as assigned.

Required qualifications

High school graduation or GED. Three years of administrative/clerical experience, including one year of experience at the Senior Office Assistant level. Prior experience with audiovisual equipment for webinars. Excellent telephone etiquette. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, meet timelines and work in team environment. Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to type; word processing skills, Excellent communication skills verbal and written. Prior scanning experience. Prior experience with event set up and break down (e.g. moving table/chairs) Professional demeanor. Regular and punctual attendance.

Preferred Qualifications

More than three year's providing administrative support in an office setting. High proficiency in the use of audiovisual equipment for webinars.

May work around standard office conditions Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation Use of manual dexterity Lifting and moving Attire: Business casual. May also assist with event set-up (e.g., moving tables/chairs) and other related duties as needed.
