The Assistant Director for Corporate and Foundation Relations is responsible for supporting the development/implementation of an annual strategic plan for corporate partners by aligning organization and school priorities into mutually beneficial, strategic partnerships thru support for McCombs programs.
Manage a portfolio of companies and facilitate companies' involvement opportunities including executive cultivation, campus visits, classroom speaking engagements, special events, donor recognition and fund raising events. Cultivate/solicit/steward corporate and foundation relationships for McCombs representing the global McCombs perspective. Interface with all internal stakeholders (faculty, program offices, centers, career services and alumni relations) to determine and be well-versed on corporate sponsorship initiatives in order to make connections between partners goals and program needs. Work with cross-campus partners on collaborative efforts across campus. Travel in and out-of-state to visit prospective/current corporate partners to identify advocates and deepen existing relationships. Identify key alumni at target companies for development outreach. Collaborate with the Director to develop and execute corporate relations team strategy; including special projects and priority projects such as reviving and re-conceptualizing sponsorship programs, as needed. Document corporate interaction through contact reports and solicitation tracker, as well as manage VIP customer relationship software system for sharing of information at the McCombs School and throughout UT.

Licenses: Class "C" Operator's Driver's License. Applicant selected must provide a current three year Driving Record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, must obtain a Texas Driver's License within 30 days after entering Texas as a new resident.
Bachelor's degree required. Five years of experience in development, business development, account management, corporate relationship management, corporate recruiting, university relations, or sales or comparable experience requiring similar skill set. Demonstrated professional experience involving relationship building with all levels of an organization and proven project management experience. Self Starter who can balance multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced working environment. Ability to work with flexibility, efficiency, enthusiasm, and diplomacy both individually and in collaboration with multiple constituencies. Attention to detail and accuracy. Proven ability to meet time deadlines and employ strategic insight in project and client outreach. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and display a consistently professional demeanor. Flexibility to travel and work varying hours as required by the position. Must be very comfortable working in a highly computerized environment including database management, internet research, Power Point, Excel, e-mail and other tools. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Demonstrated database management skills, preferably with customer relationship management software. Experience creating, monitoring and reporting on metrics for success of outreach efforts.
