To work in collaboration with the Assistant Director of Annual Giving to formulate strategy and execute tactics for digital campaigns, such as days-of-giving, crowdfunding, and other special campaigns.

Essential Functions

Serve as the Day-of-Giving Campaigns (40 Hours for the Forty Acres) coordinator by: serving as point person for all aspects of the university's day-of-giving campaign, 40 Hours for the Forty Acres; working with individuals and teams university-wide to facilitate logistics including but not limited to: campaign appropriate online giving tools, web resources, social media resources, publicity, and events; managing, planning, and executing cross-department strategies for the campaign and organizing meetings, workshops, and info sessions as required; working with internal team members to facilitate logistics for 40 for Forty, including creative and collateral, data and reporting, and integration with traditional channels; and providing regular, clear communication and coordination with all members of the Annual Giving Programs team as necessary. Serve as the Special Campaigns coordinator by: acting as a liaison to crowdfunding groups campus-wide, providing training and strategic guidance to ensure a high level of productivity; providing logistical support to all Annual Giving Programs campaigns and events; providing writing support for Annual Giving Programs digital solicitation materials; working with the annual giving donor retention specialist on projects as needed; and providing logistical assistance to all campaigns with a digital component through building/editing of creative assets and collaborating with the campaign team lead on strategic implementation.

Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree. One year of experience in specialized development work or in a related field. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and advanced Excel. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to work efficiently and organize priorities with minimal supervision. Demonstrated strong organization skills and attention to detail. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on logistical experience executing fundraising campaigns. Crowdfunding experience. Experience with nonprofit annual giving. Digital media expertise. Some print and digital design experience, and/or video production expertise.
