The maximum subscriber coverage amount is the lesser of $2 million or 10 times basic annual earnings. The maximum spouse coverage amount is the lesser of $1 million or 50% of the employee's coverage amount. All other dependents have a total coverage amount of $10,000.

As a part of your UT FLEX Health Care Reimbursement Account, you will be issued a debit card to be used at point of sale for health-related expenses. If you incur claims that cannot be substantiated, you must substantiate those claims, substantiate new claims of equal value or reimburse the amount. Failure to do so may result in your debit card being deactivated.

All employees are restricted to a minimum annual election of $180. All employees are restricted to a maximum annual election of $2700.

All employees are restricted to a minimum annual election of $180. All employees are restricted to a maximum annual election of $5000 if single or married filing jointly, or $2500 if married and filing separately. The $5000 maximum is prorated for effective dates that occur after the start of the plan year.

Children under age 13 or qualified disabled dependents of any age who are claimed as dependents for federal income tax purposes are eligible for the UT Flex Dependent Day Care Reimbursement Account. UT Flex Dependent Day Care does not cover dependent's medical care. It is intended to cover day care and related expenses.

To enroll in the UTSaver Voluntary Retirement Programs or to change your current contribution or retirement provider, follow these simple steps:

  • Select your voluntary retirement plan(s).
  • Logon to the UTRetirement Manager (UTRM) website.
    • Once logged on to UTRM, click on the Enroll/Make Changes Tab
    • Follow the instructions on the Enroll/Change screen.
  • Complete an application for your investments for the Retirement Provider(s).
  • Return the completed investment form(s) directly to the Retirement Provider before contributions are deducted from your paycheck.
