**Algebra Formative Assessments Across the TEKS series (Books, 2014)**

4 volume set

The Dana Center developed this assessment series for mathematics teachers and leaders to support implementation of the 2012 adoption of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for Mathematics. Some assessments in this resource are updated versions of tasks first published by the Dana Center in Algebra I Assessments (2002); Middle School Mathematics Assessments: Proportional Reasoning (2004); Algebra I Assessments: Performance tasks aligned to the Texas standards (second edition, 2009); and Algebra II Assessments: Performance tasks aligned to the Texas standards (second edition, 2007). We have aligned each task to the new TEKS for Mathematics and grouped the tasks into four thematically related books. Each book provides alignment tables to help teachers select tasks and plan their use in the classroom. In addition to the relevant TEKS alignment, each task is presented with Teacher Notes that include guiding questions, model solutions, and extension questions.
