Aerobic FIT + Lactate Threshold
Measures maximal oxygen consumption, training zones + LT testing
Aerobic FIT uses a treadmill, bike or rowing ergometer to
determine your aerobic fitness by measuring or estimating your
maximal oxygen consumption (VO2). Maximal heart rate and training
heart rate zones to improve your aerobic fitness are also
determined.
With your Aerobic FIT profile you will be able to:
- develop and maintain a better aerobic training program
- determine your optimal training intensity
- compare
your aerobic fitness with others of your age gender and sport
- track your changes in aerobic fitness
Lactate Threshold
Testing - This test determines the lactate threshold during
exercise which can be used to aid in determining an appropriate
training intensity and monitor progression in athletes. Lactate
threshold is typically done in conjunction with the Aerobic FIT
test, can be done as a standalone test. This test involves
several blood samples taken from the ear lobe for the assessment
of blood lactate. This test can be done on either the treadmill,
bike, or ergometer
