MAY TERM ABROAD: ENGINEERING COMMUNICATION IN BARCELONA

 

Engineering Communication is a required course for all engineering majors. Guest speakers and group activities provide opportunities to visit area industry and learn about the local culture and history. Among the top 30 most globalized and innovative cities in the world for its high level of connectivity, trade, business entrepreneurship, research, education, political system, healthcare and cultural offerings, this city also boasts a beautiful natural setting, great weather and careful urban planning. It offers wonderful pedestrian experiences through welcoming neighborhoods, parks, seaside avenues, and outstanding cultural venues all easily accessible through frequent public transportation. The city airport and trains offer great international connections. In sum, Barcelona is one of the friendliest and most beautiful cities to navigate which makes it popular with students and tourists alike.

Program Cost

2024 Program fee: $5350. Includes housing, airport pickup and orientation, welcome and farewell meals, program activities, local staff support, local transportation pass. The fee excludes airfare, meals and personal expenses.
