MAY TERM ABROAD: ENGINEERING COMMUNICATION VALENCIA

Valencia is Spain's third largest city and well connected by plane, train and bus to all over Europe and the world. It has been ranked as the best city for expatriates in 2022. The high quality of life, manageable cost of living and connectivity makes the city an exciting place to live. Students enjoy walking along its avenues and pedestrian historic center. It also ranks high in terms of recreation from the nice natural spaces of beach and mountains to the biggest aquarium in Europe, music and art and culinary experiences. Founded by the Romans in 138 BC, Valencia has continued to thrive under different governments and cultures. The city has long been a major trading center and port in the Mediterranean exporting all kinds of goods from agricultural to Valencia made silk. Its historic center is built on top of Roman ruins and boasts some of the most beautiful churches in Spain.
