Crime Prevention Tip of the Day: Since the release of the Princeton Review naming the University of Texas as the number one party school in the country I have been looking at alternative ways in which to inform students about the dangers of poor decisions. Today, I came across many of the cast aside warnings that had been proposed to be placed on containers of alcohol. I would like to share the top five warnings with you: WARNING: The consumption of alcohol may cause you to tell your friends over and over again the same story. WARNING: The consumption of alcohol may make you think you are whispering when you are not. WARNING: The consumption of alcohol may cause you to think you can sing when you can't. WARNING: The consumption of alcohol may lead you to think people are laughing WITH you. WARNING: The consumption of alcohol may create the illusion that you are tougher, smarter, faster and better looking than most people. CAMPUS WIDE: Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, The University of Texas Police Department responded to 132 alarm calls, 7 medical calls, 3 collision report, 9 suspicious activity reports, and 25 unsecured door reports between 10-012-06 and 10-17-06.
