CAMPUS WATCH: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by the University Police Department patrol officers between Tuesday, 11-07-06 and Wednesday, 11-08-06. PARKING LOT 41, 2200 Block Red River Criminal Mischief: A UT student discovered the driver's side window of his 2001 Toyota broken out. The student stated that an unknown subject then entered his vehicle and attempted to steal his in-dash stereo system. During the investigation, the student informed the officer that he had already replaced the broken window and repaired his dashboard. Loss value: $250.00. Occurred: between 10-29-06, at 3:00 PM and 10-31-06, at 7:30 PM. 200 BLOCK WEST INNER CAMPUS DRIVE Burglary of Motor Vehicle: A non-UT subject stated that approx. 2,000 feet of ¾" thick cable was removed from the bed of his company truck while it was parked behind the UT Post Office. Loss value: $2,000.00. Occurred on: 11-07-06, between 10:00 AM and 10:30 AM. CAMPUS WIDE: Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, The University of Texas Police Department responded to 28 alarm calls, 2 medical calls, 3 suspicious activity reports, and 5 unsecured door reports between 11-07-06 and 11-08-06.
