CAMPUS WATCH: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by the University Police Department patrol officers between Wednesday, 01-10-07 and Thursday, 01-11-07. MCC, 3925 West Braker Lane Criminal Trespass / Assist Outside Agency: Two non-UT subjects were discovered setting up a camp site in the wooded area west of the MCC building. During the investigation, officers discovered one of the subjects had several outstanding outside agency warrants for Public Intoxication. The subject was taken into custody and transported to Central Booking. In addition to other law enforcement actions taken, both subjects were issued written criminal trespass warnings. The second subject was escorted from the property. Occurred on: 01-10-07, at 10:10 PM. 1616 GUADALUPE Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was discovered sleeping behind a brick retaining wall. During the investigation, the officer discovered that the subject had received a prior written criminal trespass warning on 12-25-06. The subject was taken into custody for Criminal Trespass and transported to Central Booking. Occurred on: 01-11-07, at 1:05 AM. 1616 GUADALUPE Criminal; Trespass Warning: A non-UT subject was discovered sleeping on the north side of the building. The officer awoke the subject and issued him a written criminal trespass warning. The subject was escorted from the area. Occurred on: 01-10-07, at 1:15 AM. CAMPUS WIDE: Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, The University of Texas Police Department responded to 31 alarm calls, one medical emergency call, and 3 unsecured door reports between 01-10-07 and 01-11-07. UTPD generally schedules a Defensive Driving Class approximately once a month – based on need. The classes meet in the University Police Building, Room 1.318, located at 2201 Robert Dedman Dr (east of Memorial Stadium). The cost for the course is $25.00 (check or cash) payable on class date. If paying in cash, please bring the exact amount because change may not be available. You will also need to bring your driver's license.
