CAMPUS WATCH: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by the University Police Department patrol officers between Tuesday, 04-10-07 and Wednesday, 4-11-07. GEOLOGY BUILDING, #10 East Mall Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was given several verbal warnings after standing up and attempting to disrupt a public meeting before it started. The subject was taken into custody for Criminal Trespass and transported to Central Booking. Occurred on: 4-10-07, at 8:30 PM. JESTER WEST DORMITORY, 201 East 21st Street Criminal Trespass Warning: A UT staff member observed two non-UT subjects loitering near the bike racks located on the west side of the building. When the two non-UT subjects detected that they were being watched, they walked away from the area. A short time later, both subjects returned and entered the dormitory to watch TV. During the investigation, one subject claimed to be a UT student and as he stood up, he dropped a flathead screwdriver. As the investigation continued, the officers determined neither subject was a current UT student or staff member. Both subjects were issued a written criminal trespass warning and escorted from the area. Occurred on: 4-10-07, at 8:46 AM. TEXAS SWIM CENTER, 1900 Red River Theft: A white Douglas road bicycle was stolen from the bike racks located on the north side of building after being secured with a U-shaped lock. Loss value: $1,200.00. Occurred on: 4-09-07, between 4:30 PM and 5:45 PM. CAMPUS WIDE: Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, The University of Texas Police Department responded to 34 alarm calls, 3 suspicious person calls, 2 suspicious activity calls, 1 collision report, 4 medical emergency calls, 2 fire calls, and 10 unsecured buildings between 04-10-07 and 04-11-07.
