CAMPUS WATCH: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by the University Police Department patrol officers between Tuesday, 04-24-07 and Wednesday, 04-25-07. GREGORY GYM, 2101 Speedway Theft: A brown wallet with pink flowers, along with a blue cellular telephone, was stolen from an unsecured locker in the women's locker room. Loss Value: unknown, Occurred on: 4-24-07, at 2:24 PM. GREGORY GYM, 2101 Speedway Theft: A cash bank from the Gregory Gym Café was stolen after being left unsecured on a table in the café. Loss value: $300. Occurred between: 4-23-07, at 2:40 PM and 4-24-07, at 8:50 AM. STUDENT SERVICES BUILDING, 100 West Dean Keeton Street Harassment: A UT staff member reported several offensive phone calls received by the Nurse Advice Line from an unknown male caller. It is unknown if these calls are made by the same male or numerous callers. Occurred: 4-24-07, at 2:00 PM. 300 BLOCK WEST DEAN KEETON STREET Suspicious Person: Two UT students, walking west on Dean Keeton, reported a non-UT subject walking quickly towards them while making threatening eye contact. As the subject approached, the students ran into Kinsolving Dormitory. During the investigation, a UT police officer found the subject a short distance away. The subject stated he was in the area "looking for cherry pie." The officer advised the subject to not disturb or harass people on campus and was released after receiving a verbal criminal trespass warning. Occurred: 4-25-07, between 1:38 AM and 2:48 AM. 2500 SAN ANTONIO STREET Public Intoxication: A UT student reported a white male passed out on the steps of his apartment complex. While passed out, the subject had a severe physical reaction to the overconsumption of an adult beverage. Officers detected a very strong odor of an alcoholic odor on the subject's breath. The officers were able to wake the subject up from his alcoholic stupor. During the investigation, the subject, with slurred speech, complained that his knees hurt. The officers contacted Austin EMS. The subject was treated at the scene and the was transported to a local hospital. Occurred on: 4-25-07, at 1:11 AM. 2600 BLOCK, SAN JACINTO BLVD Criminal Mischief: Two UT staff members reported their drivers front tires were slashed. The vehicles were a Silver Chevrolet Cavalier and a Red Pontiac Aztec. Loss value: $50 each. Occurred between: 4-23-07, at 10:30 PM and 4-24-07, at 12:55 AM CAMPUS WIDE: Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, The University of Texas Police Department responded to 49 alarm calls, 2 medical calls and 8 unsecured buildings between 04-24-07 and 04-25-07.
