Prior to the start of finals, some students will discover the library for the first time. Thieves are aware of these facts and are waiting for the opportunity to apply their trade. If studying in a group, leave a responsible student at the table to guard against theft. If you are studying alone, never ever leave your property unattended. Everyone is vying for a "quiet" space, and some of these "quiet" spaces are isolated within the library. Always be aware of those sitting around you. Take a few minutes and see who is watching you. Good Luck to everyone with your finals. Since some of you have contributed to the Campus Watch this school year, some of you might need it. CAMPUS WIDE: Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, The University of Texas Police Department responded to 36 alarm calls, 2 suspicious persons calls, 2 medical calls and 5 unsecured buildings between 05-02-07 and 05-03-07. Contact UT Police at 471-4441 if you have any information regarding any of the above incidents or call 911 regarding suspicious persons, suspicious activities or crime. Your call may help solve or prevent a crime. Campus Watch comments should be directed to Officer Darrell Halstead at 512-232-9634 or Darrell.halstead@austin.utexas.edu .
