CAMPUS WATCH: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by the University Police Department patrol officers between Monday, 06-04-07 and Tuesday, 06-05-07. JESTER WEST DORMITORY, 201 East 21st Street Criminal Trespass Warning: A non-UT subject was discovered sleeping inside a restricted first floor room. During the investigation, the subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning and escorted from the area. Occurred on: 6-05-07, at 4:00 AM. LADYBIRD JOHNSON WILDFLOWER CENTER, 4801 Lacrosse Criminal Mischief: A UT staff member discovered the hinges had been damaged on the southwest access gate. Loss value: Unknown at this time. Discovered on: 6-04-07, at 9:10 PM. SID RICHARDSON HALL, 2300 Red River Criminal Trespass Warning: A non-UT subject entered the Dean's Office asking directions to the library. After receiving the requested information the subject left. Several minutes later the same subject was discovered inside another office. The subject asked the staff member for directions to the Dean's Office. Several staff members recognized the subject and contacted the UT Police Department and followed the subject until the officers arrived. The subject was located and issued a written criminal trespass warning and escorted from the area. Occurred on: 6-04-07, at 1:45 PM. Crime Prevention Tip: The staff at SRH did a great job in notifying other staff members about this subject, and several staff members kept the subject within eye sight until the police officers arrived. This subject was also seen inside SZB last year asking the same questions. This subject will come back. CAMPUS WIDE: Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, The University of Texas Police Department responded to 43 alarm calls, 2 suspicious persons calls, 1 medical call, 1 collision report, and 8 unsecured buildings between 06-04-07 and 06-05-07.
