CAMPUS WATCH: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by the University Police Department patrol officers between Wednesday, 06-13-07 and Thursday, 06-14-07. UNION BUILDING, #4 West Mall Graffiti: Etching and permanent markings were found on a mirror and several stalls in a men’s restroom. The replacement and cleanup cost is $100.00. Occurred between 06-13-07, at 8:00 PM and 06-14-07, at 12:10 AM. UT ADMINISTRATION BUILDING, 1616 Guadalupe Possession or Delivery of Drug Paraphernalia and Criminal Trespass Warning: A non-UT subject was found sleeping, in a sleeping bag, in the courtyard. The officer awoke the subject and determined he was not in need of medical assistance. The officer asked the subject for his ID. As the subject was digging through his duffel bag for his ID, the officer observed a glass pipe and a baggie containing a green leafy substance. A filed release citation and a criminal trespass warning were issued to the subject. The subject was released and he left the UT property. Occurred on 06-14-07, at 2:20 AM. CAMPUS WIDE: Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, The University of Texas Police Department responded to 49 alarm calls, 1 suspicious activity call, and 3 unsecured buildings between 06-13-07 and 06-14-07. UTPD generally schedules a Defensive Driving Class approximately once a month – based on need. The classes meet in the University Police Building, Room 1.318, located at 2201 Robert Dedman Dr (east of Memorial Stadium). The cost for the course is $25.00 (check or cash) payable on class date. If paying in cash, please bring the exact amount because change may not be available. You will also need to bring your driver's license.
