CAMPUS WATCH: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by the University Police Department patrol officers between Monday, 6-25-07 and Tuesday, 06-26-07. PETER T. FLAWN ACADEMIC CENTER, #2 West Mall Criminal Trespass Warning: A non-UT subject was discovered sleeping inside a restricted area located on the 3rd floor. During the investigation, the officer soon discovered that the subject was not a student or staff member. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning and escorted from the area. Occurred on: 6-25-07, at 10:01 PM. TWENTY-SEVENTH STREET PARKING GARAGE, 109 West 27th Street False Report / Evading Arrest / Possession of Marijuana / Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: Several UT police officers responded to a panic alarm located on the fifth level of the parking garage. Upon the arrival of the first police officer, the officer observed three UT students and one unknown subject standing next to the alarm. When the four subjects saw the officer, all four turned and ran down the stairwell. The officer soon discovered a discarded plastic baggie that contained marijuana. A search of the area revealed three of the four subjects attempting to hide inside a school playground. During the investigation, the officers detected a very strong odor of burned marijuana and the odor of alcohol on the breaths of all three students. All three subjects were taken into custody and transported to Central Booking. Occurred on: 6-26-07, at 12:38 AM. CAMPUS WIDE: Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, The University of Texas Police Department responded to 42 alarm calls, 3 suspicious activity calls, 2 suspicious persons reports, 2 medical calls, and 5 unsecured buildings between 06-25-07 and 06-1-26-07.
