CAMPUS WATCH: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by the University Police Department patrol officers between Tuesday, 10-09-07 and Wednesday, 10-10-07. 1700 BLOCK RED RIVER Public Intoxication: A UT student was discovered stumbling as she attempted to maintain her balance while walking in the roadway. During the investigation, the officer detected a very strong odor of alcohol on the subject's breath. The officer observed several indicators of intoxication and took the student into custody for Public Intoxication and transported her to Central Booking. Occurred on: 10-10-07, at 12:43 AM. 2300 BLOCK SAN JACINTO BLVD Disorderly Conduct-10 / Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: Two UT students were observed walking in the roadway with their pants down around their ankles. One subject forgot that he was not wearing underpants. As the investigation continued, the officers detected a moderate odor of alcohol on both students breath and discovered that both were under the legal drinking age of 21. One student denied drinking any alcohol, but admitted he had been taking Oxycotin. Both subjects were issued field release citations for Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor. The subject who forgot his underwear received a second field release citation for Disorderly Conduct-Exposure. Occurred on: 10-10-07, at 1:00 AM. 2500 BLOCK SAN JACINTO BLVD Assist Outside Agency: A white Cadillac was observed running through a stop sign at the intersection of 23rd Street and San Jacinto Blvd. During the traffic investigation, the officer learned that the subject had an outstanding outside agency arrest warrant for Family Violence. The subject was taken into custody for the warrant and was transported to Central Booking. Occurred on: 10-10-07, at 2:30 AM. CAMPUS WIDE: Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, The University of Texas Police Department responded to 17 alarm calls, 2 suspicious activity calls, 4 suspicious persons reports, 1 medical emergency call, and 5 unsecured buildings between 10-09-07 and 10-10-07.
