CAMPUS WATCH: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by the University Police Department patrol officers between Monday, 01-07-08 and Tuesday, 01-08-08. It is that time of the year to submit your nominations for the Campus Watch "Best of 2007." INTRAMURAL FIELDS, 4901 Guadalupe Theft: An EZ GO Workhorse was discovered stolen from a secured maintenance area. Loss value: $2,000.00. Occurred between: 01-04-08, at 3:30 PM and 01-07-08, at 6:45 AM. INTRAMURAL FIELDS, 4901 Guadalupe Graffiti: Words written in white spray paint were discovered along the western fence line. Loss value: Unknown at this time. Discovered on: 01-07-08, at 6:45 PM. INTRAMURAL FIELDS, 4901 Guadalupe Criminal Trespass Warning (2 Counts) / Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: Two non-UT subjects were discovered inside a restricted area of the archery range. During the investigation, the officers observed that one subject was holding a small metal container. The container held a small amount of a green leafy material that was identified as marijuana. The subject was issued a field release citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both subjects were issued a written Criminal Trespass Warning and were escorted from the area. Occurred on: 01-07-08, at 8:55 PM. ROBERT A. WELCH HALL, 105 East 24th Street Theft: A Hewlett Packard printer was stolen after being left unsecured outside a secured 5th floor office. Loss value: $950.00. Occurred between: 01-03-08, at 4:00 PM and 01-04-08, at 10:00 AM. UNIVERSITY CHARTER SCHOOL, 2200 East 6th Street Criminal Trespass Warning: A non-UT subject was discovered sleeping on the east side of the building. During the investigation, the officers learned that the subject was waiting to go to work and had been evicted from his apartment. The subject was issued a written Criminal Trespass Warning and was escorted from the property. Occurred on: 01-08-08, at 4:29 AM UNION BUILDING: #4 West Mall Criminal Trespass Warning: A non-UT subject was discovered sleeping next to the northeast exterior doors. During the investigation, the subject was issued a written Criminal Trespass Warning and was escorted from the area. Occurred on: 01-07-08, at 6:40 AM. WALTER WEBB HALL, 2500 GUADALUPE Graffiti: A UT police officer discovered words written in white paint on the east side of the building. Loss value: $50.00. Discovered on: 01-07-08, at 9:51 PM. CAMPUS WIDE: Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, The University of Texas Police Department responded to 18 alarm calls, 2 suspicious activity calls, 2 suspicious persons calls, and 4 unsecured door reports between 01-07-08 and 01-08-08.
