Theory: Find an area where students go to catch a few hours of well deserved sleep, in a public area, and take advantage of the situation. The Union Building and several libraries around campus offer ideal hunting grounds for a thief to apply this theorem. An overstuffed backpack will make a great pillow or footrest. Better yet, the thief will make an affordable alarm clock when they attempt to steal your pillow or footrest. 100 BLOCK WEST DEAN KEETON Public Intoxication / Possession of Marijuana / Assist Outside Agency: A non-UT subject was discovered passed out blocking a sidewalk. I hope everyone has stories for their friends and not explanations for their parents. As you can see in today's issue of the Campus Watch the criminals did not go on Spring Break. They sprung back onto campus and broke into other things. Laptop computers, bicycles, and backpacks still remain the prime targets at UT. Take a few extra minutes and ensure that your personal property is secured. CAMPUS WIDE: Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, The University of Texas Police Department responded to 109 alarm calls, 6 medical emergencies, 11 suspicious person reports, 10 suspicious activity reports, and 25 unsecured door reports between 03-012-08 and 03-17-08. IfContact UT Police at 471-4441 if you have any information regarding any of the above incidents or call 911 regarding suspicious persons, suspicious activities or crime.
