CAMPUS WATCH: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by the University Police Department patrol officers between Monday, 04-07-08 and Tuesday, 04-08-08. JESSE H. JONES COMMUNICATIONS COMPLEX, 2504-C Whitis Ave Theft: A Toshiba DVD player was stolen from an unsecured 4th floor studio. Loss value: $150.00. Occurred between:4-04-08 and 4-07-08. NORTH OFFICE ANNEX, 101 East 27th Street Theft: An Apple iPod nano with a carrying case was discovered stolen from an unsecured 5th floor office. During the investigation, the officer learned from the victim that her office mate's purse containing several credit cards and various forms of identification had also been stolen while the office was left unattended and unsecured. While the officer was obtaining the information with regards to the thefts, a third victim came forward to report that his Motorola cellular telephone had also been stolen from another unsecured 5th floor office. Loss value: $190.00. Occurred on: 4-07-08, between 12:01 PM and 4:30 PM. CAMPUS WIDE: Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, The University of Texas Police Department responded to 8 alarm calls, 2 medical emergencies, 2 suspicious person reports, 2 suspicious activity reports, and 3 unsecured door reports between 04-07-08 and 04-08-08.
