CAMPUS WATCH: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by the University Police Department patrol officers between Wednesday, 05-14-08 and Thursday, 05-15-08 ALMETRIS DUREN RESIDENCE HALL, 2624 Whitis Ave Theft: A UT staff member discovered two exit signs had been stolen from a second floor hallway. The unknown subject(s) absconded with the "memento" and made an early exit prior to the discovery of the theft. Loss value: $287.00. Discovered on: 5-14-08, at 2:30 PM. GOLDSMITH HALL, #5 West Mall Criminal Trespass Warning: A non-UT subject was discovered sleeping inside a restricted area. During the investigation, the officers learned that the subject was not currently a UT student or staff member. The subject was issued a written Criminal Trespass Warning and was escorted from the area. Occurred on: 5-15-08, at 12:08 AM. CAMPUS WIDE: Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, The University of Texas Police Department responded to 22 alarm calls, 3 weather related damage reports, 2 suspicious activity reports, and 4 unsecured door reports between 05-14-08 and 05-15-08.
