CAMPUS WATCH: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by the University Police Department patrol officers between Thursday, 07-07-08 and Monday, 07-08-08. If you have any information pertaining to these incidents or any other criminal / suspicious activity, contact the UT Police Department at 512-471-4441. ENGINEERING SCIENCE BUILDING, 2501 Speedway Burglary of Coin-Operated Machine: The glass display window of a coin-operated machine was discovered broken and an unknown amount of products had been removed from the machine. Loss value: Unknown at this time. Discovered on: 7-07-08, at 1:00 PM. PERRY-CASTANEDA LIBRARY, 101 East 21st Street Theft: An Apple MacBook laptop computer was stolen after being left unattended for approx. 10 minutes. Loss value: $2,000.00. Occurred on: 7-07-08, between 1:30 PM and 1:40 PM. CAMPUS WIDE: Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, The University of Texas Police Department responded to 34 alarm calls, 4 suspicious persons calls and 5 unsecured door reports between 07-07-08 and 07-08-08.
