In case you haven't noticed, the UT Police Department and the Travis County Sheriffs' Office began traffic enforcement geared toward safety issues including bicyclists disregarding state traffic laws. Citations included and will include, but are not limited to: Running Stop Signs, Failure to Yield Right of Way to Pedestrians, and Traveling Left of Center. The subject had his head in his hands with his cellular telephone to his ear. The subject's face was down and hovering over a hodgepodge of his wallet and what looked to be the evidence of his night on the town. After being awakened, the subject came to his feet and began to stumble away. The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he deemed a danger to himself. The subject later provided further physical evidence of his night of over-indulgence. Occurred on 09/26/08 at 2:50 A.M. 600 Colorado Assist Outside Agency: Several subjects summoned a nearby UT Police Officer and 2 UT Guard Officers to assist with searching for a strong arm robbery subject that was hiding in a privately owned parking lot. The subject was quickly located and assisted to the ground then taken into custody. The boyfriend of the victim promptly approached the suspect and introduced his foot to the suspect.
